Scott Starowicz: July 2018 Member of the Month

Caffeinated CrossFit, Smyrna, GA

We are so proud of how far Scott has come. He's put in so much work, and is a religious 7.30 pm-er. With all the hours he puts in when he and his wife started up the SAE school, he not only carves out the time to be a part of Caffeinated, he also brought his wife along making it a family affair!! We love his commitment to his goals and are humbled to be a part of his journey.

Some fun facts about Scott:

(Q) Occupation: (A) CFO of The SAE School, Inc.

(Q)  How long have you been at Caffeinated CrossFit? (A) 1 year

(Q)  What do you enjoy doing outside of CrossFit?  (A) I enjoy hanging out with my wife and kids and spend most of my free time outside with them.

(Q)  What is your biggest achievement so far?  (A) The one rep maxes are the highest they’ve ever been for me.  When I started I was exhausted after a few minutes and being able to now complete the WOD’s that go 15 to 20 minutes is a big achievement that I can make it that long.

(Q)  What are your future goals?  (A) I would like to be able to do a WOD at the Rx level one day.

(Q)  Any advice for anyone just starting their CrossFit journey?  (A) I think the idea of joining CrossFit can be overwhelming at first in learning the lingo and seeing the WOD.  You just have to trust the process and know that you’ll be able to pick it up and that coaches will be there to help you along.

(Q)  Favorite Cheat Meal.  (A) Pizza

(Q)  CrossFit Secret:  (A) Watch what others do and stretching.
