Kyle (NOT Kylie!!) joined our Caffeinated family almost a year ago along with Luke, her fiancé at the time. (We picked Kyle because you know… happy wife happy life…) Kyle and Luke both dove right into the heart of our community coming out to our first lake day barely a week after they joined and never looked back. Kyle eventually volunteered to help out at the gym with some administrative duties while quietly motivating everyone around her in class.

Some fun facts about Kyle:

(Q) What do you enjoy doing outside of CrossFit? (A) Spending time with friends, my husband, and my puppy! During the summer, I love relaxing at the pool. When time allows, I love to travel.. and can't wait for our honeymoon in July!

(Q) What is your biggest achievement so far? (A) Marrying the love of my life

(Q) Any advice for anyone just starting their CrossFit journey? (A) Be patient. Sometimes it'll take a year... or 2... or 5... for you to be able to get that pull up, push up, or deadlift PR. BUT if you work on it, cut yourself some slack (when you feel like you're not making progress... when I promise, you are)... you'll get there.

Let different coaches... coach you. Sometimes, it's that one piece of advice, that little tip that someone says to you, that makes a movement... click.

Also... enjoy your time at the box. When feel like you're with family and friends, THAT is what crossfit is all about for me. After moving from PA, to GA... it was when we joined Caffeinated, that I finally felt like Atlanta was home. That we finally had the people, the friends, and the community that we had been searching for - and it makes leaving so bittersweet.

(Q) Favorite Cheat Meal? (A) Pizza... or chips... I love chips!

(Q) CrossFit Secret? (A) Push yourself. I like to pick someone in a class that I am not nearly as strong as, or as fast as... and do everything I can to "try" to catch up to them. I NEVER get upset if I'm the last one done in a wod, as long as I know I worked hard! I just like to get a good workout in... I don't need to win!

(Q) On Rest Days? (A) I do everything I can, to not do anything at all! :-)

(Q) Who is your box buddy? (A) Luke, of course. He's always my #1 cheerleader & supporter (even when I tell him not to cheer for me).
