JESS IS A LEVEL 1 TRAINER
Jessica has been an active person for all of her life. She's been playing soccer since she was five and is a sucker for a donut. Jessica was first introduced to Crossfit two years ago by a friend who brought her to a Halloween Costume Workout. After doing box jumps as Minnie Mouse, Jessica was hooked. Since then, she's had many firsts including pull-ups, handstands, and rope climbs. Her sports background gives her a competitive mindset and helps her stay focused on reaching her next goal. Part of why she coaches is because she's passionate about helping others reach their own goals no matter how big or how small. Her favorite workouts are partner workouts! She loves the push she gets from her teammate to get one more rep in, or go just a little bit faster.
Favorite Workout: Annie
KELSEY IS LEVEL 1 CERTIFIED
Kelsey has always loved playing sports because her parents neglected to mention that she was a little girl until 7th grade, when she finally had to stop playing in a boys' baseball league and switch to softball. In high school she played soccer, ran cross country, and played softball, though she wasn't particularly good at any of those. She thought she found her sport in college where she rowed for the University of Georgia, but as luck would have it, she was mediocre at that as well. Currently she settles for being a mediocre Crossfitter, which suits her just fine. Her goal on any given day is to be able to come in to the gym tomorrow, and for this reason she is obsessed primarily with her mobility and how to safely scale workouts. Her biggest accomplishment to date is being able to keep a six pack after six years of stress-eating at her desk as a sixth grade teacher.
Favorite movement: D-ball over shoulder
Least favorite movement: handstand push up
TOMMY IS LEVEL 1 CERTIFIED
Tommy began his CrossFit journey in 2012 in Houston, Texas where by 2014 he became a level one certified CrossFit trainer and coach. Having acquired a strong background in athletics, it did not take long to become immersed in the incredible community and competitive nature of this wonderful sport. Tommy was a 5 sport athlete in high school, and a collegiate football player. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, and went on to receive a doctorate degree in chiropractic neurology and clinical nutrition.
A message from Tommy:
I have always been fascinated by the human body and its capability to learn complex motor skills. The body is always capable of pushing harder then the mind leads one to believe. After retiring from organized athletics, I lost my will and passion to train hard. I became very inconsistent in my exercise regimen. CrossFit was the missing link that restored this lost passion. The true beauty of CrossFit is that it combines all major exercise domains, including gymnastics, power lifting, olympic lifting, and endurance type activities, such as running, biking and swimming. You will never run out of areas to improve; therefore, it truly is a life long journey of physical and mental feats. Tommy joined the Caffeinated team around March of 2018, and immediately knew this was his new home. Caffeinated CrossFit has such a strong sense of community; it is refreshing to know you have a second family to keep you accountable.
Favorite WOD: “Fran” 21-15-9 thrusters 95#, pull-ups – for time.
My motto: “The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” Confucius

KAT A. IS LEVEL 1 CERTIFIED
Kat has been involved with competitive sports her entire life. She grew up playing all types of sports -- soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, swimming and riding horses just to name a few. She started playing lacrosse as a sophomore in high school and was able to go and play in college at Washington & Lee University in Virginia. It was there, where she fell in fitness and weight lifting. She became two-time All-American and the Defensive Player of the year for Women's DIII Lacrosse while in college. After graduation, she moved out west to be a wrangler on a dude ranch where she taught guests to ride horses and lead rides in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. For the winters, she taught skiing in Aspen to 3-6 year old children. From there, she joined Colorado College as an assistant coach and coached Women's Lacrosse. As you can tell, she has always loved being active and coaching/teaching others. Since coming to Atlanta in 2013, she has continued her love for coaching and helping develop athletes at Lovett High School with the varsity girls lacrosse team and through crossfit at Crossfit Rx and most recently here, at Caffeniated Crossfit.
